A. It will depend on the extent of the fire's original damage and what was done to fix it. Often times the framing of the building can be weakened by the fire or even the water from the fire dept. can cause extensive structural damages. The kilz primer is used to cover the smoke stains and smell. But it should not be used to hide damage. If there was an insurance claim, then it must be explained to the buyer.

There are so many elements that are easy to overlook plus there could be a toxic factor when working with things that have been burned. And the fire never actually came into her apartment. It was a mess!

For example, many auto physical damage appraisers were former body shop managers and owners. If you have experience in restoration, you probably have contacts in the insurance industry. Reach out to those contacts and see what they can tell you. You may also want to check with independent adjusting companies or companies that focus on "storm trooping".
